Tina Thacker - Foot health practitioner

I worked in the care industry for 22 years, working in the local area with older people and those living with Dementia.

As a Health Care Assistant, I frequently encountered people whose feet caused them problems, for a variety of reasons. One of the most common problems is the inability to bend down in order to cut their toenails, or if able to cut them, knowing how to do it properly.

It can be hard to find a chiropodist or podiatrist to come to your home to give regular foot treatment. I was aware of this and that is why I trained to treat feet as a mobile foot health practitioner.

Qualified and certified

I trained at Stonebridge College Bude.

I work to a very high standard with equipment that has been individually sterilized and wrapped in accordance with EU standards.
